My buddy had just won $500 at slots, speculating they had them loosened up for the first week, so I figured what the heck. The gentlemen who wasn't playing so well ended up rebuying for his last $60 and losing it, so I decided I would take my meager winnings and get some food/donk it at the slots. I played for about 30 minutes, winning and splitting a few pots here and there, and I was up $30. She told me she would check for me, I gave her my Drivers License and continued to play. I recognized 2 of the 5 other players as decent semi-regulars (from MD Live), with the other 3 being unknowns. For reference, it was the table directly behind the poker registration 'island/kiosk.' I didn't intend to play, but after touring the facility and meeting my friends (who were all seated), I noticed an open seat at a 5 handed, $5-10 Limit Omaha Hi-Lo table and decided to buy $100 in reds at the cashier, and sit at the table. I arrived at Horseshoe Baltimore for the first (and last) time on Augat 10:00PM to check it out, and meet some of my buddies who were there playing. Although I am extremely upset, I will keep the speculation and emotion out of the post and stick to the facts.
